Not working with the remote or switch

The power source in your home has most likely been disrupted. Ensure that the motor unit is plugged in. If this does not work, check the circuit breaker fuse or GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter).

Will not close to completion

The close limit switch has to be adjusted. If you are having trouble with this, try to see if the door is binding when raised and lowered manually.

Goes back up immediately after it touches the floor

This problem can usually be fixed by adjusting the close limit switch.

Garage Door goes back up immediately before it touches the floor

This also has something to do with the close limit switch. This part of the opener needs to be adjusted in order for this issue to be resolved.

Does not open completely

This issue has something to do with the limit switch. To fix this issue, the limit switch needs to be moved towards the motor unit.

It is opening, but the motor will continue to run

This also has to do with the limit switch. The limit switch needs to moved away from the motor unit in order to ensure the motor stops running when the garage door has completely come down.

Will not open or close with the remote control

There are a number of reasons why the remote control is not working.
1. Try moving closer to the door. You might be out of range from the sensor
2. Make sure that the antenna on the motor unit is hanging down
3. If the door functions fine with the wall switch, replace the battery in the remote.
4. Reprogram the remote.
